This is very credible because bothe are very reliable. the sources for the flood info explains that heavy downpours, such as those that affected Missouri and Iowa, will become more common and more severe along with the rise in global temperature. But as for the droughts Thomas Karl says when is rains it rains hard, and when its not raining then its warmer so there's more evaporation.
